AED Training

Since the initiation of the "Public Access AED Program," hundreds of lives have been saved by adding "Early Defibrilation" to the already effective, "Early CPR." The most common terminal rhythm in adults is Ventricular Fibrillation. The only effective treatment for V-Fib is to D-Fib(defibrillate or countershock) it with electrical energy. Our AED Program not only teaches students how to use the AED but more importantly, gives them the confidence to intercede on the patient's behalf.

CPR alone only "buys time" keeping the brain and vital organs alive until Defibrillation is available. AEDS are becoming more and more popular and every good rescuer must know how to use them effectively.
