Training Special

We have combined our Wilderness Medical Class and our Wilderness Survival Class into one three-day long program. This is a new program as of our September 2007 Class. Our ever popular four-day program spent the first two days in the classroom learning how to care for the sick or injured when you are hours or days away from a hospital. The third and fourth days were spent camping in a beautiful Wilderness location actually practicing the skill learned earlier and learning "hands on" how to survive in a wild environment. The new program is three days of camping and all previous "classroom activities" are now completed during the campout. Power point slides, videos, etc. are still used, but shown in our new "group tent." Attendees will recieve a three year certification appropriate to their level of certification from the American Safety and Health Institue and EMS Personnel will receive 24 hours CE. Nursing CEU's have been applied for. Please email, call or write for a free brochure and more information. Class dates scheduled at this time for 2008 are September 11th - 14th. We will provide special classes for your group or family on request. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE MEDICALLY TRAINED TO ATTEND! Those attendees with no medical back ground will learn Basic Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness Survival while participating with students from various backgrounds and different degrees of medical knowledge... or, we can do a class JUST FOR YOU! (Or your family, group, Scout Troop, etc.)
Current special includes a $25 discount for each person YOU recruit! If you recruit five people to come with you, YOU get in free! We will accomodate special circumstances, so please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email with any questions or suggestions you may have.
Please register as early as possible to reserve a place in class as enrollment is limited.

An awesome experience!
Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to survive and how to treat wilderness emergencies all at the same time. We set up our campout as if you are one of several survivors from a small airplane crash. This gives you some very realistic experience as you treat victims and provide for your survival.

Wilderness Campout
As of 2007 ALL THREE DAYS of the Class are spent "Camping out" - This is soooo much fun!!! Don't miss this! We promise that you won't be eaten by a bear... in fact we will teach you how to avoid a bear attack and to survive the unlikely event of actually being attacked! We also prepare you for rabid animal attacks, mountain lion encounters, and much more.

The Campout!
The Campout includes great meals prepared by an expert "Camp Cook", Intertainment, Refreshments, and around the clock TRAINING. Starting with our September 2007 class, we will have a large Group Tent at the campsite for classroom activities, cooking, and other activities. You may sleep in the tent if you would like as well. (If the Forest Service closes the forest due to "fire season" the campout will be rescheduled).

| Sept. 2008 |
September 11th - 14th are the dates of our 2008 Wilderness Medicine/Wilderness Survival Class. We have recently (late 2006) modified our ever popular four-day program. Rather than spend two days in a classroom followed by two days camping, we are going to try a new "three day program" - all three days on the Campout! The Campout will be on West Clear Creek at one of Arizona's "hidden places". Call for your brochure today or download it from our download page. Class size is limited and fills up quickly. The class will still use power point slides, videos, etc. but they will be shown in our new "group tent." We believe that additional camping experience will make the program more profitable for all attendees. Depending on weather conditions, a second class may be scheduled to accomadate all registrants.
